Legacy is located in the community of Oak Grove, just west of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The Oak Grove public school system was again awarded a level 5 ranking this year as one of the finest school systems in the state.
Hattiesburg and the surrounding area are home to over 100,000 people. Numerous opportunities exist for golfing, fishing, biking and other outdoor pursuits.
The city has two excellent hospitals ready to provide state of the art care.
Hattiesburg, known as the Hub City, is less than 90 minutes from the state capital of Jackson as well as New Orleans, the Gulf Coast, and Mobile. It is a Certified Retirement Community and home to the University of Southern Mississippi and William Carey University.
We have a thriving arts community with a number of university and civic organizations involved in theatre, dance, art and music. Just north of town is the Hattiesburg/Laurel Regional Airport (PIB) serviced by Northwest Airlines.

Pine Belt National Golf Club
Located off Interstate 59 north of Hattiesburg, Mississippi at exit 76, between Hattiesburg and Laurel. The Clubhouse sits on the highest point in Jones County at 300 feet above sea level.
